When you grow up in a family that does a lot of canning, you can really appreciate just how handy a pot stirrer is.
Our family raised a lot of tomatos. Consequently we canned a lot of salsa, barbeque sauce and pasta sauce. And anyone that has cooked barbeque or pasta sauce can tell you that they have to cook for hours on low heat with continual stirring. And there are few things more frustrating than hovering over a hot pot all day long, stirring.
The Ardente Gourmet pot stirrer answers that question. It stirs. And it stirs all day long.
Designed to fit any normal-styles stock pot with two handles, the ardente stirrer sit on top of the pot and clamps onto the handles. Because it is battery powered you don’t have to worry about trying to plug it in. And thanks to the fact that it uses huge, D-size batteries, it can stir all day long without stopping.
(Although, investing in rechargeables might be a great idea)
And, thanks to its double-stacked stirring paddles, it can thourghly stir the pot no matter how deep it is. This can be especially important when cooking other sauces such as applesauce and apple butter which are thicker and can stick to the sides of the pans if not stirred contantly and all the way through.
While all of this cooking can be ardous, the results are worth it. Every fall you can have a wonderful spread of your own, carefully prepared meals that your friends and family will enjoy.
And thanks to the fact that you have this unique kitchen gadget, you can still run your life normally, watching TV, playing Sudoku or pursuing whatever other hobbies make your life rich, all while the Ardente pot stirruer does its job.
Maybe the Italians did get it right with this one.
