There are many different styles of kids beds that can be purchased these days. While the twin bed is very popular and can be used as part of a design plan there is so much more in the way of style that is quite unique.
For example, the loft bed has become very popular lately with its ability to save on space. It can be found with the sleeping mattress on the top and an area beneath for a desk for homework. This is especially good for those that love to be up high and will allow for additional items such as dressers or chairs.
Another popular item in the kids beds category is childrens bunk beds. This space saving furnishing also allows for more space in the bedroom and easily sleeps two siblings or an occasional over night guest. Additionally, bunk beds with futons make for an exciting sleepover for the kids. Four can comfortably sleep with this arrangement.
A teen will enjoy the use of the platform bed which can come in the standard double size and as a water bed that will make sleeping very comfortable. They can also look very smart when combined with a complete matching ensemble of bed, dresser and night stands. Many platform beds come with storage drawers beneath the platform that can alleviate the need for an extra long or tall dresser. They make a great place to store magazines, clothing and games.
To add excitement to young kids beds, there are bright colored themes such as race cars, or their favorite cartoon show. Many of these types of beds can be readily purchased on the internet and delivered directly to any address. There you can find great selections of all the different beds for kids and many bargains can be found. Assembly is usually very easy and only requires the most basic of tools.
